RENFREWSHIRE COUNCIL APPROVES ASSET TRANSFER OF CARBROOK STREET WISH GARDEN SITE TO WEGGA

Renfrewshire Council has approved the transfer of a 0.8 acre derelict site in Carbrook Street Paisley to the West End Growing Grounds Association (WEGGA) who will now begin seeking grants of up to £300,000 to transform it into a community garden and growing ground.

I am delighted to announce Wegga's application to become a registered SCIO charity has been approved. Our new official name is West End Growing Grounds Association SCIO.

Please note our new polytunnel will be installed on Sunday 13th August, contractors will be on site at Sutherland Street. Please let a committee member know if you would like to use it once ready.
